Our Starting Point
As a team we wanted to tackle something unexpected, something great, and a complex problem, through design, and we wanted this course to be an exercise for us on how we might create a better future. The question we found interesting was: "How can we give order to chaos with design, and how can we change behaviours to alter the food industry." Our topic became: "The future of food". For this project we all came together with different backgrounds, and with different perspectives on this topic bound by the fact that we had come from very different cultures around the world, from the east China, the south-east side of the equator; Argentina, and from the far north; Norway. This lead to an interesting discussion about different food habits from across the globe, which we mapped out.
